This course covers the skills and knowledge required for workers employed as Engineering/Manufacturing Employees or in related industries where Engineering/Manufacturing Employees work.

The course has been developed so that competency will be developed through a combination of on and off-the-job learning strategies delivered through a formal apprenticeship.

In order to complete this qualification students must successfully achieve the 12 core units of competency and a number of electives (the number of electives in this qualification may vary depending upon those chosen but must be sufficient to make up 73 points in total.
