Skills for All and YOU!           

From July 2012 the Government will subsidise training which means that if you're eligible you'll only pay a small portion of the course fee and in some cases your training with us will be completely FEE FREE!  We are a government approved Skills for All provider which means that more South Australians will be able to access more courses through ATEC.

Enrolment Conditions

Where indicated above, the following enrolment conditions apply. Only applicants who meet the Skills for All eligibility criteria in addition to one of the following conditions will qualify for the funded/subsidised training.

a. Training Guarantee for SACE Students (TGSS) ONLY - A high school student participating in vocational training as part of their SACE studies.

b. Training Contracts ONLY - A student signed into a training contract with an employer, i.e. an Apprentice or a Trainee.

c. School Based Training Contracts ONLY - A high school student signed into a training contract with an employer, i.e. a School Based Apprentice or Trainee.

Am I Eligible to apply for Skills for All funding?

To be eligible for a government funded training place you will need to meet certain criteria such as being:

  • An Australian or New Zealand citizen;
  • A permanent Australian resident; and
  • The holder of a state sponsored visa and on a pathway to a permanent residency

And

  • Be aged 16 years or over; and
  • Live or work in South Australia

Determining if you are eligible for Skills for All  funding is a simple process. Just visit the Skills for All website at www.skills.sa.gov.au and fill out the eligibility checklist or you can contact ATEC on 1300 112 832 and we can check your eligibility for you*

*Other criteria may apply.

Concessions

ATEC offers concessions if you:

•  Hold a health care card
•  Hold a pensioner concession card
•  Hold a pensioner concession card issues by the Department of Veteran Affairs
•  Are a prisoner of a South Australian correctional institution
